Make a list of what features you would like to see in your new kitchenor bath. Don't forget to make a list of what you don't like in your
current kitchen or bath, as well.
Involve every family member in the design process. Ask your entire family to make a list of how they use the kitchen and how often
they use it.
Make a rough sketch of your floor plan and take measurements
(or if new construction, get a floor plan from your architect or builder).
